January in the oldest city in the United States, founded in 1565. Winter light comes in low across the coquina stone of the walls and the old town is still quiet first thing. There were five of us, and every evening we sat down to look together at what had come out that day.

The next thing we do is Yosemite, from November 10–14, 2026.
