I take you to places I already know, with the plan made: transport, lodging and the exact hour you need to be in each spot. You bring your camera and the will to walk. We are never more than twelve, so every evening there is time to look at everyone's work, with you there.
Dates come out a year ahead: time enough to ask for the days off and look at flights calmly. Spots go in order, and the first to say yes is the first in.
Six days and five nights in Yosemite, the first land the United States decided to protect, in 1864. We go in October for three things: the whole valley in yellow, the mist over the meadows at dawn, and a quarter of the people you get in high season.
